For the month of March, I am going to highlight blogs that I think are interesting and useful. Some may not be directly related to personal injury or Social Security disability law, but all of us who represent injured and disabled people occasionally need help in other areas. A few have been featured here before, but they keep getting better. Today's entry in March of the Blogs:
Today is St. Patrick's Day, and I can't think of a better legal blogger to represent this day than that old Irishman himself, Kevin O'Keefe. Kevin writes Real Lawyers Have Blogs for his company, LexBlog. Kevin's company hosts more than 500 legal blogs, and his own blog is filled with great information (and strong opinions) about blogging. Here is some info about Kevin from his Web site:
information on the use of blogs and social media for law firm
marketing.
Kevin, CEO of LexBlog, Inc.,
was a trial lawyer for 17 years. Practicing law in rural Wisconsin, he
successfully marketed his own law firm on the Internet in a such a
positive way that USA Today said "If O'Keefe isn't careful, he may wind
up giving lawyers a good name."
Prior to LexBlog, Kevin founded Prairielaw.com, an online law
community for consumers and small businesspeople. Later acquired by
LexisNexis, Prairielaw.com was incorporated into Martindale-Hubbell's
lawyers.com. Kevin then served as a VP of Business Development of
LexisNexis' Martindale-Hubbell.
While Kevin practiced law, he was a sustaining member of the
Association of Trial Lawyers of America and a board member of his
state's trial lawyers association.

Thanks for the kind words Bob. In addition to being a good lawyer, you give back to the profession in a lot of different ways through blogging and listserv contributions. So it means a lot to receive a compliment from someone I see as a lawyer’s lawyer.
