It’s hard to fight a business if you have been injured on the job, sometimes it’s hard to prove that they are at fault. Legal representation in certainly the way to go, after all they are they understand the laws a lot more than the average everyday person.

I couldn’t agree more. Texas is a terrible place to be injured on the job. The laws are totally stacked in favor of the employer and the insurance carrier. It’s a very sad situation for the employees. Good luck with your claim.

if you think workers comp is bad,in texas you can be a nonsubscriber its worse than comp. any texas legislator that thinks its better should ask me. its a licence to mistreat workers. i could get better treatment in iran. My neck and back were injured (herniated disc plus in both)over a year ago. I have received treatment on my back, but on my neck i just received my 1st erisa denial letter over one year later after questioning my treatment. my attending physian also questioned there ethics and was removed. i finally got fed up and an attorney is handling them as well as osha. maybe after this employers will take notice.
